I have reported, written and/or produced stories for Marketplace, WAMU, Weekend America, Off Ramp, Trace Magazine, The San Francisco Film Foundation's Release Print and The Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers Independent.

Sound of the Drums, a documentary short I wrote and produced was screened at the San Francisco Black Film Festival and at the VIBE/UrbanWorld Film Festival in 2007. Sound of the Drums recently screened in Washington, DC as part of Intersections: A New America Arts Festival at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in February, 2010 .

My BFA in Dramatic Writing is from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and my MA in Journalism and Public Affairs is from the American University's School of Communication in Washington, DC.
